Application Inspiration: Glitter Freckles

Hey y’all! Now I’m going to show you how to do one of our super fun ways to wear Bolt Balm. It’s called the Glitter Freckle. And talk about cute. Every time I wear this, I get so many compliments. So, I’m really excited to show it to you.

Let’s see, I think I’m going to use the Copper Conjure since that matches my little outfit. So I have my little sample here and my little applicator and I’m just taking a little bit again and, like I said previously, I love to use the back of my hand because it just keeps the excess off of my face until I actually want to use it. So here I go with the glitter freckles.

The glitter freckles live on your cheeks you just lay them down kind of one by one it’s kind of a cool thing. You just keep on going laying them down. Now some people like to just do glitter freckles on their cheeks but I really like doing them across my the bridge of my nose as well. So it’s up to you, personal preference.

I’ll show you the one way first and then I’ll show you how it looks across the bridge of the nose as well. But I’m literally taking just like individual pieces of glitter from the Bolt Balm and placing it down on my cheeks. Again, I’m kind of using a very gentle, like stamping motion, because I do want the glitter to lay flat so I get the longest wear pattern out of it. I’m just keeping on keeping on, putting some more little pieces here and there, and if I get them too clumped up on each other then I’m just kind of going back in.

The biggest thing with glitter applications is just to be patient. Take your time, play around with it. If it’s where you don’t want it, use the edge of the applicator. Pick it back up. There’s no mistakes with glitter. That’s what I like about it, it’s just fun and easy.

That one’s a little too far so I’m just scooping it back up looking for like little blank spaces. But again, I don’t want to get too symmetrical because these are freckles, so they are kind of natural and organic looking. But this feels pretty good so far I’m just gonna steer these up just a little bit. And this is how it looks not on the bridge of my nose. I’m going to now extend it so I have some little freckles on my nose as well.

So here I’m just grabbing a little bit more of Bolt Balm. Again, a little bit goes a long way. I’m not putting very much on my little applicator and I’m just spreading over my nose as well. Everywhere that the sun would hit is where you put the glitter freckles. So, where you would naturally see freckles on people is where you want them to live.
