Fear not! You can bring your Bolt Balm back to life very easily by adding water (use distilled water for purity). Push all glitter to the bottom of the jar. Slowly add water to the jar so it barely covers the dry glitter. Don’t over fill. Put the lid back on and then let it sit for 5-10 minutes. Open it back up and gently stir using the applicator. It should be ready for use!

Avoid use on anyone if there is a danger of them rubbing the glitter into their eyes, this includes children. Sorry kids, Bolt Balm is glitter for grown ups! Ok, this might sound crazy but…a lint roller or tape works well! Simply roll the lint roller over the area with glitter and it will be gone! Remember, use caution when using a lint roller or tape in the eye area, your lashes and the sensitive skin in these areas will thank you.

Yes, glitter and shimmers will come off in the shower, but it’s a good idea to avoid washing shimmers and glitters down the drain for a variety of reasons.

That is why we recommend the lint roller and tape method on body gels, and makeup wipes on eye and lip makeup.

Elektra Cosmetics longwear lipsticks are great on their own but when topped with the matching Microfine Glitter topper, they can last 8-12 hours, but this really depends on your lip habits. You can drink and eat like normal once the glitter has set after a few minutes dry-time.
