Yes. Elektra Glitter Lip Kits use cosmetic-grade microfine glitter that is safe for lip use. The glitter particles are rounded — not sharp — and the formula is skin-safe. Do not swallow intentionally, but incidental ingestion from normal wear is not a concern with cosmetic-grade glitter.

The lip color base lasts 4-6 hours with normal wear. The glitter stays adhered as long as the lip color underneath is intact. For longer wear, apply a thin layer of Mint Glaze Glitter Primer underneath before the lip color, and avoid heavy eating and drinking which will wear through any lip product.

No. Each kit includes both the lip color and the matching microfine glitter — everything you need for the look. The lip color acts as the glitter adhesive, so no separate glitter glue is required. The only optional addition is the Mint Glaze Glitter Primer for extra staying power.

Yes. The microfine glitter from any kit can be pressed over your own lip color, lip gloss, or lip liner as long as the product underneath is slightly tacky. It works especially well over a matte lip color — the matte finish grips the glitter better than a gloss formula.

Oil-based makeup remover or micellar water on a cotton pad. Press it against your lips and hold for 10 seconds before wiping — the hold step dissolves the base so the glitter lifts off cleanly rather than smearing. Follow with your regular lip care routine.
